FemtoLasik

Femtolasik:

It is the latest vision correction technology, which is done without surgical intervention by raising a very thin layer of the cornea using a femtolaser, then excimer laser beams are directed at the surface of the cornea to reshape it and correct the eye’s strength (nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism).

Femtolasik features:

The entire procedure is performed using a laser without using a surgical blade as in regular LASIK…

– Increasing safety rates during and after the operation…

– The possibility of performing the operation in cases of thin corneas that are not suitable for regular LASIK….

– Fast recovery after the operation and high quality of vision….

Process steps:

The operation is performed under local anesthesia by placing an anesthetic drop inside the eye.
The eyelids are moved apart using a flexible tool designed for this purpose.
Using femtolaser rays, the outer surface of the cornea is lifted with great precision.
The excimer laser reshapes the surface of the cornea with extreme precision to correct the refractive error that causes nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.
The laser device accurately tracks eye movement during the procedure
The operation takes place in a short period of time, not exceeding 10 minutes, and does not require a stay in the hospital
